So the results are in and I passed…yeah. I am approved to be a surrogate again. So now the craziness begins, I signed the retainer to give up a whole bunch of rights. Then there is the draft of the contract that was sent to me… wow. The contract is one big fat list of do’s and don’ts, more don’ts than do’s. So I went over the thing with the attorney and made a few changes. Now I am waiting for the IP’s to review it and see if everything is fine. I hope to sign the contract before the end of this month.

O.K. so I was asked if I had my blood screening was done in the last year. The doctor office had said that if it was within the last year I would be good to go. I told them yeah that I had it done in November. Yeah that was a mistake Read the rest of this entry »

YEAH!!!!! It finally happened… I am finally matched unofficially of course. Both the Intended Parents (IP’s) and I said that we wanted to work together so now the fun begins. This happened on July 28th but I have been so busy with school… (read previous blog) that I have not had time to write about it until now… I really don’t have time now either but I decided that it need to be done before I was further along in the process and could not remember the details of every thing. I am kicking my self every time I get stressed out about school. I know that I did it to myself by waiting till the last two months to get every thing done…. but DAMN I feel like I am truly going nuts. I have submitted all but four of the 26 tasks due for this term. Yeah I know that I have done a lot but these last four tasks are killing me. I just want to be done already!!!! I keep telling myself you only have… look how many you have already done…. you can do this…. but I am starting to fade I need a boost of some kind. I HAVE to have all of the tasks submitted by the 15th of this month. I should not be blogging right now …. but I need a little distraction from the internal screaming that is going on in my head. I am starting to show signs of becoming a not so nice person. I better get back to the grueling last tasks. I am going to have major medical problems by the 14th.

I was hunted down…. I guess they really liked me because they did a lot of searching…. and they found me. I was suppose to be have a conference call with the couple from Canada but then out of nowhere came an e-mail to my husband’s account. He came in one night to ask hey who did we meet in June?
